Do I follow any influences? The answer to that question is yes I do. When I lived in Ottawa, Canada I became friends with an influencer who had a really big following. They were a henna artist and had about 100k followers. She would invite me to influencer events that would be held once a year at the Ottawa Blues Fest.
These influencers would market themselves with intriguing posts to catch followers attentions on social media. Whether it be henna, fashion, social issues, music, and more these influencers would post intriguing photos and videos that would get them thousands of likes, comments, and followers. Once these influencers gained massive followings, different businesses would decide to partner with these influences to help market their businesses and followers and in return the would give sponsorships or free merchandise etc. This kind of marketing is known as influencer marketing.
Since influencers have so many followers they play the role of facilitating visibility of different business. They post videos and photos and tag business they partner with in order to promote those brands and get fans interested in certain products, brands, or businesses that they may partner with.
Marketing perspective impacts the relationship between the company and the consumer because great marketing gives a deeper look into a company’s core and soul and gives an inside peek of all that a company has to offer to consumers. The better the marketing scheme of a company the more consumers will be attracted to the company’s brand and merchandise the more successful that company will be.
